Dr Erin Greaves returns from Taiwan

During her visit to the China Medical University, Dr Greaves heard about how traditional Chinese medicine might be used to treat endometriosis and was taken on a fascinating tour around the University herb garden.

Dr Erin Greaves visited Taiwan in September 2018 to deliver lectures on ‘laboratory models for the identification of new therapeutic targets for the treatment of endometriosis and associated pain’ at various institutions:

  • The National Sun Yet-sen University, Kaohsiung
  • Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital
  • China Medical University in Taichung

She met with many senior doctors and investigators as well as the Dean of Foreign Affairs.

To round off the trip Erin delivered a plenary lecture entitled ‘endometriosis-associated macrophages; defining their function, phenotype and ontogeny’ at the 7th Asian Conference on Endometriosis in Taipei.

What an experience!
