The Scientific Symposium on targeting inflammation to improve reproductive health across the lifecourse was held from 16 – 18 August in Edinburgh, and was a great success. This article was first published on 29 August, 2017 Many delegates took advantage of their visit to Edinburgh and also enjoyed some Festival shows and the exciting buzz of the city in August. This Symposium was held in collaboration with the Society for Reproductive Investigation and the MRC Centre for Reproductive Health. There were various poster successes for MRC CRH - Graeme Ireland, Chloe Hogg, Demi Brownlie and Erin Greaves were all awarded commendations. Best poster was awarded to Lisa Starr from McGill University in Montreal. Image Best oral presentation - Carole-Ann Whigham Best oral presentation went to Carole-Ann Whigham, a clinician doing a PhD with Stephen Tong at the University of Melbourne.
