Details of the study Why we are doing the research? PRENCOG is a programme of research consisting of four interlinked studies. We want to discover how and why premature birth affects the developing brain so that we can develop new treatments to help children who are born early. Who can take part? This page explains who can take part in the study. What will happen if I take part We will collect information about you and your baby on three occasions – antenatal, birth and the newborn period (until your baby leaves hospital).
