IMMENSE study

A new study to better understand the role of immune cells and hormones in menstruation in those with endometriosis.

Why?

The purpose of this study is to improve our understanding of the hormones controlling the onset of a period and the type of immune cells that are involved in repairing the lining of the womb at the end of each period. Improving our understanding of periods in women with endometriosis could lead to insights into the potential causes of endometriosis or could identify targets for therapies that could improve abnormal periods
